STACHOWIAK WHISKY

INDEPENDENT BOTTLING PROJECT – UNITED KINGDOM

A long-term release strategy shaped by portfolio ownership, measured timing, and respect for the liquid.
First release scheduled for 2029.

The Project

The foundation of Stachowiak Whisky lies in disciplined selection and controlled release strategy. Each cask is evaluated within a broader portfolio structure — balancing maturation timelines, distillery character, and long-term positioning. This is not a volume-driven model.
Releases are designed to remain limited, deliberate, and consistent over time.

Cask Portfolio

The portfolio dedicated to Stachowiak Whisky consists of over 20 maturing casks across Scotland and England. It spans major Scottish whisky regions — including Islay, Highland, and Speyside — alongside selected English distilleries.Maturation styles range from first-fill and refill bourbon to structured sherry, wine, port, and brandy casks.
Both peated and unpeated distillates form part of the long-term strategy.
Where appropriate, releases may adopt a comparative format — inviting exploration of how peat level or cask type shapes the same distillate over time. Not every cask is publicly detailed.
Portfolio structure and release timing remain central to the project’s development.

Maturation Strategy

Primary maturation forms the foundation of every future release.Cask selection focuses on distillery character, balance, and long-term ageing potential before any consideration of finishing.Secondary maturation is applied selectively — only where it enhances texture, depth, and aromatic complexity.Exploration of wine, fortified wine, and rum cask influence forms part of the ongoing research process, always with clarity of flavour and structural balance in mind.

Founder

Stachowiak Whisky was founded by Anna Stachowiak as a long-term independent bottling project centred on portfolio ownership and deliberate release planning. The project reflects a measured approach to growth — prioritising clarity, patience, and the integrity of each cask over accelerated timelines.Active engagement with distilleries, warehouses, and trade partners across the United Kingdom supports the path toward the inaugural 2029 release.

First Release — Target 2029

The inaugural Stachowiak Whisky release is currently targeted for 2029, subject to continued maturation and cask evaluation. It will be presented as a Twin Cask release — drawn from the same distillery and vintage — with one expression remaining in its original maturation and the other undergoing a carefully considered secondary finish.Bottled as single casks at natural cask strength, each expression will reflect how wood, time, and spirit evolve in parallel.Production volume will remain limited.
Timing will always be guided by quality rather than schedule.

About

Stachowiak Whisky is an independent bottling project built on portfolio ownership, long-term timing, and disciplined release strategy.Founded by Anna Stachowiak, the project is rooted in direct cask investment and a structured approach to maturation — not short-term trends or speculative bottling.

The journey began with cask acquisition across selected distilleries, with a focus on balance between age, character, and future release potential. Each decision — from distillery selection to maturation patience — is made with 2029 as the first scheduled release window. This is not a fast launch brand.
It is a measured build.
What began as personal cask exploration evolved into a structured independent bottling project built around timing rather than trend.

The structure is simple:

• Own the liquid
• Respect the timing
• Approach maturation and finishing with intent
• Release only when ready
Stachowiak Whisky is currently in its development phase. The portfolio is built on direct cask ownership, with maturation decisions taken case by case. Where appropriate, secondary wood finishes may be explored — not as a marketing tool, but as a structural choice to enhance balance and character.Samples, final distillery confirmations, and release windows will follow according to maturation.

Portfolio

Stachowiak Whisky portfolio is built through direct cask ownership across selected regions and producers, combining mature spirit with long-term holdings structured for releases from 2029 onwards. The portfolio exceeds twenty privately owned casks, forming the structural foundation of the label’s future releases.

Portfolio:• Multiple distillation years across a balanced acquisition window
• Established and modern distilleries
• Unpeated and peated expressions
• Bourbon, wine and sherry-seasoned oak
• Mature stock alongside casks intended for extended aging

Maturation Philosophy:• Primary maturation defined at acquisition
• First fill, second fill and refill casks across the portfolio
• Wine and sherry wood used both as primary and selective finishing vessels
• Wood approached as structure and integration, not novelty
• Releases determined by readiness — never by calendar

Detailed inventory remains confidential at this stage.

Future Releases

Future releases are structured around readiness, not schedule. The first bottlings are planned from 2029 onwards, subject to maturation, character development, and internal evaluation.

Each release will be built on:

• Individual cask assessment
• Structural balance between spirit and wood
• Clear stylistic intent
• Limited volume and controlled distribution
No annual batches.
No volume-driven timelines.
No speculative releases.
The portfolio includes both mature stock and long-term holdings, allowing flexibility in release sequencing. Some expressions may remain single cask.
Others may evolve into small structured editions.
Every bottling will reflect the cask’s character — not a marketing calendar.Allocation details and confirmed releases will be announced when samples are approved and final maturation decisions are made.
